The YZY 450 Stone Flax is part of the most creative & fashion forward footwear on the market. Models like these aim to elevate YZY’s distinctive design aesthetic. The YZY 450, the first YZY model produced in Germany, takes advantage of cutting-edge automated manufacturing techniques.
The one-piece exoskeleton of the YZY 450 Stone Flax is engineered to support the one piece knit upper. The sock-like upper, manufactured out of adidas’ Primeknit, wraps the foot for a 360 degree flexible fit and unmatched comfort. This unique design comes in a light tan color scheme and is made from recycled materials.
The upper is attached to a flexible, cushioned midsole made of soft, injected polyurethane. The 450’s midsole has tapered protrusions that rise up at the heel and midfoot to form an exoskeleton-like cage providing stability, and futuristic look. The sneaker is finished off with a matching rubber outsole and incorporates curving lines that make up the traction pattern. Tonal rope laces, Ortholite insole, and a sock limemmcuff that resembles a sock serve as additional features.
