YEEZY MX SLIDE

Going back to 2018 during one of Ye’s late night Twitter leaks he first revealed to the world a line up of pastel 350s, 500s, a few 700s, and this new 350 V2 with a see through stipe. Ye had everyone on the edge of their seat waiting for the next reveal. Then he posts an on foot of a Blue silde.

At first, like with a lot of new Yeezy silhouettes they were met with mixed opinions. Twitter erupted from people loving them, to people calling them Jail slippers. People saying this is the future of footwear, to others saying Gummy shark 10s and so on.

Fast forward to December 2019 they finally launch. Ye drops the Bone, Resin, and Desert Sand colorways. Even though they sat longer than most Yeezys they still sold out. These in particular if you wanted them you could have gotten them. Of course there was people that mocked them and didn’t get a pair. Once people started posting to Instagram the climate shifted virtually overnight. Those people that were clowning them were now salty they missed out for the $55 retail.

The once mocked “jail slippers” was the most sought after footwear in 2020. Crazy how the Yeezy effect changes people minds all of a sudden. The prices on the secondary market skyrocketed to over $300 a pair for $55 pieces of foam. Now the slides have became a main stream phenomenon and everyone wants a pair. Yeezy is going full force with the slides releasing 9 colorways so far, restocking multiple times, and the hype has not fell off a bit.

So what’s next for the Yeezy slide? Since the Foam Runners and 350s are getting the Mx treatment. It’s only right the slides get it as well. Now samples have surfaced of a Mx slide sample. The main color resembles the Bone slide but has the Mx marble pattern in brown similar to how the Mx Cream Clay looks. The rest of the slide is the same as previous releases as far as the shape and materials.

Hopefully they fix the sizing by the time they decide to release some of the Mx samples. If they don’t you will need to order up 2 sizes if they are like the Enflame and Glow Green sizing. Let us know on Instagram what your thoughts are of the Mx Slide sample.
